Jonathan Blackwell and Angela Nash-Blackwell were married in Sydney in 2013 where Linebrand.com.au was built to deliver digital products at General Assemb.ly. In 2016 the couple founded Nashwell LLC in Texas to encompass Art, Work, and Bespoke, Bakery, to span the couple’s shared services in ethical products.
‘Art’ comes from Jonathan’s work in the arts as Lineaist.com, which gave rise to ‘Work’ in the agency, Linebrand.us. ‘Bespoke’ covers Angela’s work in made-to-measure fashion in NashwellBespoke.com while ‘Bakery’ highlights Angela’s culinary art at Nashwell and in the kitchen of the mermaid at LaSirenaCocina.us.
Angela moved to Lubbock from Sydney in 2015, bringing with her three fashion brands: Ampersander, Sydney Patternmaking, and Angela Nash Bespoke. Her culinary skills are now employed at La Sirena in Cactus Alley where she serves as the Pastry Chef under Executive Chef Jessica Fultz and Proprietor Cat Traxler.
Jonathan launched the Marketing Department at the Museum of Texas Tech in 2015 and NashwellCo.work in 2016 to bring Linebrand to Texas in 2017. In the same year he started down the PhD track at Texas Tech University with a research focus in renewable energy investment across media and entrepreneurship.
